About Gowun Dodum Fonts

Gowun Dodum(고운돋움) is a humanist sans-serif typeface with a touch of hand movement. Gowun means ‘neat and delicate’ in Korean and this typeface has a warm and friendly impression. Dodum is the style name for sans-serif Hangeul text typeface.

Yanghee Ryu

Yanghee Ryu is an independent type designer specializing in Hangul. She released her first typeface ‘Gowun Hangul’ in 2010, and has graduated from the MA Typeface Design course at the University of Reading 2017. Her interests include multi-script type design for development of Hangul typefaces harmonized with other scripts.
